About the Club
The Ladybug Project student club at Florida Gulf Coast University is a student-led organization which aims to help raise awareness for the education and healthcare crisis in Africa and allows students the unique opportunity to practice career skills in a club setting.
Our club is unique because we allow you, the student, to take your strengths and use those to work and make a difference. Are you a skilled writer? Help us put together PR packets or earn your service learning hours learning how to write press release packets. Are you skilled at multimedia, public speaking, event planning, or do you just have an interest in helping advance healthcare and education in Africa? The Ladybug Project is right for you!
Best of all, The Ladybug Project Inc. is a registered service-learning organization with Florida Gulf Coast University, and we're happy to help you complete that eighty hour volunteerism requirement! In fact, students in the past have worked doing online help for our club, in addition to in-person fundraisers, office internships, and more!
