Annual Ghanaian Youth Festival
Starting in 2012, The Ladybug Project Inc. will be partnering with the Bediako YouthAid Foundation to organize a large multi-day youth festival in Ghana! We are so excited to be a part of this amazing project, and although we've only just started the planning process, we are committed to making the annual festival a success.
The festival, which is expecting 200 participants hailing from countries all over the world, will explore health issues (including HIV/AIDS), education, cultural tolerance and exchange, and the Millennium Development Goals.
All Ladybug Project Inc. volunteers and supporters are welcome to participate at a cost of $1000 (all in-country expenses covered), and are welcome to travel with Kim, our Executive Director, as she travels there from June 23rd to July 3rd, 2012.
In addition to securing funding for the festival, The Ladybug Project Inc. will be lecturing and networking at the festival, in addition to presenting a large shipment of donated school and clinic supplies, and providing university interns who will help plan and execute the event.
