Data Collection and Dissemination - Africa project sites
Aid Assistance - Equatorial Guinea
In the spring of 2012, in partnership with the University of Tennessee Department of Social Work, The Ladybug Project undertook the first assessment of international aid in Equatorial Guinea. The results of this assessment will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at one international conference by 2013.
HIV/AIDS data - Ghana
Through our HIV/AIDS Volunteer-Match program, we will be collecting healthcare data for analysis and publication. We will publish this data in a peer-reviewed journal, disseminate it widely both in the country and internationally, and present the results in at least one international conference.
| State of healthcare - Equatorial Guinea
Through our Moka Clinic & Malabo Healthcare Initiative, The Ladybug Project will be collecting data on the state of healthcare on Bioko Island (Equatorial Guinea). We will publish this data in a peer-reviewed journal, disseminate it widely both in the country and internationally, and present the results in at least one international conference.
Rural Teacher Network - Madagascar
Through the Rural Teacher Network, we will be collecting the first baseline data on learning rates in northern, rural schools in Madagascar. We anticipate data collection from 800-1000 schools, and hope that this information will show the need for focused improvement at these schools.
We will publish this data in a peer-reviewed journal, disseminate it widely both in the country and internationally, and present the results in at least one international conference.
