Micah Burkey, M.S.P., Chair (voting member)
Micah Burkey earned a masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, and works in operations continuity for the Public Health Department in the City of Philadelphia. In the past he has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity as well as for the Honorable Senator Fasano (Florida Senate). He is a founding board member.

Joshua Stewart is the part-owner and manager of the Sanibel Adventures in Paradise Outfitters store, and is serving as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors. Through his business, Josh has successfully introduced South-West Florida to a spectrum of high-end clothing lines and often works with area charities. He is active in the Sanibel and Fort Myers business and entrepreneurial community. He is a founding board member.

Audrey Beatty, Secretary (voting member)
Audrey Beatty earned a bachelors degree in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University and is a successful sales and marketing professional for several businesses in South-West Florida, where she has devised and executed large, innovative advertising campaigns. She has also volunteered for the South Florida Gaurdian Ad Litem program, and advises The Ladybug Project on its media outreach. She plans to return to school to earn a Master's of Business Administration, and is a founding board member.
| Peter Reuter, M.D., Ph.D., Treasurer (non-voting member)
Peter Reuter, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, as well as the author of dozens of medical reference books. He has also taught at Hodges University. Peter serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for The Ladybug Project, and is the faculty advisor for the FGCU Ladybug student club. Peter speaks fluent German and conversational French, and is a founding board member.

Kim Reuter, Executive Director
Kim Reuter is the founder of The Ladybug Project Inc. charity and now serves as Executive Director of the organization. She has spent significant time working in The Ladybug Project's target countries (Equatorial Guinea and Madagascar). She speaks fluent German, English, conversational French, and is learning Malagasy. She is working towards a PhD in Biology from Temple University; the focus of her research is conservation in Madagascar.

Autumn Elliott is our volunteer Outreach Coordinator from Drexel University, where she studies Anthropology and Sociology. Autumn spent time working in Equatorial Guinea (one of the project's target countries) undertaking an ecology study and volunteer work, but was inspired but the people and the children's incredible passion for learning. Autumn works to bring awareness of The Ladybug Project to the northeast, and to generate acute and long-term sponsorship for supplies and shipping. Contact her at ase28@drexel.edu

Samuella Ware, Project Management InternMs. Ware's Ghanaian and Public Health background lend her well to The Ladybug Project's mission. She studied Health Sciences and Non-Profit Management at the University of Pittsburgh, and plans to go to Graduate School to study global health issues. She aspires to start her own non-profit clinic for mothers and children.

Jordan Harrison, Graphic Design
Jordan is our volunteer graphic designer and is responsible for our fantastic posters and brochure designs. In addition, he works closely with our organization to innovate creative logos and graphic design materials as needed. Kristy Massengale, Graduate Development Intern (Equatorial Guinea)
Kristy has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She is currently pursing a Masters of Science degree in Social Work with a concentration in Management, Leadership and Community Practice (MLCP) at the University of Tennessee. She is the Vice President of the Masters of Social Work Organization (MSWO) and a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society for her scholastic achievement in social work.She will be working in Equatorial Guinea from January until May 2012 on Ladybug Project development programs.
Alistair Wright, Translator
Alistair is based in Madrid (Spain) and is fluent in written and spoken Spanish, French, and English. | Chelsea Ricketts, M.S., Outreach Coordinator
Chelsea is based in British Columbia (Canada) and holds a Masters degree in Fish Physiology and Molecular Biology, and worked with Kim Reuter in Madagascar (one of the project's target countries). While in Madagascar she played on, and fundraised for, a women's community soccer team; she also visited both of our sponsored schools in Madagascar as a Ladybug Project Inc. representative.
