Past "Supporter of the Month" Winners!
March 2012: Peter Reuter
Peter has been an amazing asset to The Ladybug Project since its inception. The father of the founder/Executive Directore, he has gone above familial duty and has done everything from organize financial logistics, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and feed our other board members at meetings (sitting through board meetings takes energy!). He was even one of the best "dressed" at our 2011 Ladybug Photo contest (the evidence can still be seen in the picture to the left).
The Ladybug Project is a small nonprofit that thinks big, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten about all of the amazing people who have helped us get this far. Thanks again, Peter, for everything you do for us!

February 2012: Consuelo Obiang Mbulito
Consuelo is the Director of the successful Agencia Mogne in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. She has also been extremely instrumental in helping The Ladybug Project become established in Malabo, and has even donated office space to our operations in Malabo City. Consuelo is an active philanthropist in Malabo and is associated with the newly built EG Cultural Center, as well an organizer for a large fundraiser benefiting an orphanage in Malabo.
Consuelo is an invaluable supporter of The Ladybug Project in Equatorial Guinea, and we are so thankful for her assistance!

January 2012: Ann Reuter
Being the sister of the Executive Director, Ann has been "in the know" about The Ladybug Project from the start. Yet, her recognition as Supporter of the Month has little do with relation, and everything to do with her dedication to our cause. Ann has volunteered at all of our South Florida fundraising events, and was critical in our Summer 2011 Student Scholarship initiative, where she "donated" her social capital to help the project at Florida Gulf Coast University. Finally, she has served as a go-to jack of all trades: driving four hours round-trip to pick up donated school supplies, making creative home-made signs, and donating monetarily.
Thanks Ann for all of your support in 2011!

December 2011: Jennie Harrison
Jennie Harrison is one our fabulous and long-time online supporters, and she wins the December 2011 Supporter of the Month award for "liking" virtually every one of The Ladybug Project's facebook status updates. Jennie has also volunteered at a fundraising event and was one of our more creative photo competition participants (as evidenced by her picture here!).
We appreciate all of our supporters, regardless of whether the interactions and support is online or in person. Every status "like" is a step forward in our efforts in Africa! Thank you, Jennie, for your support!

November 2011: Frank Tritico
Frank Tritico, a student at Tennessee Tech University has done amazing outreach and awareness work for us, including a fundraiser and awareness event which raised $2000 in donations!
Thanks for your fantastic work, Frank!

October 2011: Michelle Persante
Michelle Persante, a student at Florida Gulf Cost University and founder of the FGCU Ladybug Project Club, has been a volunteer aficionado with us since June 2011 . During this time, she has led the way to forming our first university-based club, brainstormed fantastic ideas for how to increase outreach projects for The Ladybug Project, and helped create a new ladybug project video for our awareness raising efforts.
Michelle has helped bring life to our university-focused outreach projects - thank you for all of your help, Michelle!

September 2011: Danielle Hess
Danielle Hess, a bright university student based in Tallahassee, Florida, has been volunteering for the project since the spring of 2011. During this time, she has organized and collected a large amount of school supply donations (three times!), volunteered (without being asked!) to help run a fundraiser/social event in May, volunteered doing email communication with the project, and was even part of a fantastic duo to enter their photography into the first annual Ladybug Project photo competition.
Danielle's enthusiasm for the project is evident throughout her work with us, and she has set the bar for how young professionals can get involved in our organization in a nonmonetary manner. Thanks for all of your help Danielle!
